At Keyrus Colombia, we are looking for a Senior Data Architect / Data & Analytics Advisor with strong technical expertise and a solid consulting mindset, who can become the regional reference point for all data-related topics.

This role combines technical leadership, active involvement in pre-sales, solution design, and close collaboration with clients on their data modernization, analytics, and AI initiatives. It is a strategic position within the practice, with impact on both business growth and the positioning of our solutions.

What will your day-to-day be like?

• Define scalable and robust data architectures for different types of projects.

• Provide guidelines and best practices for design, pipelines, data modeling, and cloud platforms.

• Act as the technical reference for internal teams and clients.

• Participate in commercial processes by contributing a technical perspective.

• Design proposals, estimates, and architectures for bids and new projects.

• Present solutions to clients clearly, aligning business needs with technological capabilities.

• Work directly with technology and business leaders to understand their challenges and translate them into data strategies.

• Guide clients through their data modernization roadmap, cloud migration, and adoption of new analytical capabilities.

• Provide architectural support and ensure technical quality in implementations.

• Oversee key decisions within projects, especially highly complex initiatives.

• Support technical teams by resolving questions, reviewing designs, and promoting best practices.

• Contribute to the development of internal accelerators, frameworks, and technical guidelines.

• Identify new opportunities within existing clients.

• Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to strengthen the Data & Analytics offering.
  

Do you have what we are looking for? 

We are excited to meet you if: 

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Postgraduate degree or specialization in data/analytics topics.

• 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or similar roles.

• Previous experience in consulting or roles with frequent client interaction.

• Proven track record designing large-scale data solutions.

• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Deep knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT, pipelines, and modern architectures (lakehouse, data warehouse, streaming).

• Hands-on experience with tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Spark, and Python.

• Understanding of practices such as DataOps, MLOps, and data governance.

• Clear and effective communication, especially with non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to make decisions, influence, and lead technical discussions.

• Experience in pre-sales, estimations, and proposal design.

• Familiarity with budgets and resource allocation.

• Conversational English.

• Valid certification in a cloud platform or key data ecosystem tool (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, or Snowflake).
