Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the team understands requirements clearly and knowledge sharing across the testing team.
- Assign work to offshore/onsite, monitor and report the testing progress to all stakeholders & QA manager
- Estimate and manage testing schedules
- Identify risks, issues and dependencies in the testing phases, track issues and coordinate for resolution.
- Analyze data, trends and come up with recommendations to improve quality
- Maintain documentation
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry & company’s best practices to ensure quality goals are met.
- Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing QA services in the project
- Lead and mentor QA team members, as well as manage outside contract testers.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and procedures (manual and automated).
Experience Required
- Experience of managing, leading and coaching teams to successfully deliver outputs in defined timeframes.
- Ability to multitask and work effective with little supervision; ability to co-ordinate onsite and offsite resources deliverables/activities
- Ability to manage design issues with solutions delivered to ensure delivery of software meets requirements within set deadlines
- Experience in Manual Testing covering Functional, API and data and Integration testing.
- Capable to collect metrics and setting up reporting dashboards
- Experience in testing large scale IT and system implementations (preferentially e-commerce projects)
- Comfortable with creating test cases for highly complex systems to ensure full test coverage
- Ability to work with client and 3rd party agents, understanding their expectations & priorities
- Ability to specify and setup test environments
- Be able to work with little or no documentation and develop understanding of solution in order to sufficiently test solution is fit for purpose
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing to business and technology stakeholders
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- Knowledge of test automation tools (ex. Selenium, Katalon, TestComplete, readyAPI, etc)
- At least one ISTQB certification or any other relevant related certification
- English Proficiency
- Availability to travel as needed
Desirable Qualifications
- Agile Certifications (SM / PM / BAT)
- SAP Certifications (Commerce , Marketing, C4C, Ariba, etc)
- SalesForce Certifications (Commerce, CRM)
- Portuguese is a plus
